The Wonderful World of Rocks & Minerals
The secrets of the rock cycle will be discovered and examined using microscopes and hands-on activities to dig deep into the mineral make up of rocks and their formation. Identification and comparisons of rocks and minerals will be made, and students will get the chance start their rock collection!

The secrets of the rock cycle will be discovered and examined using microscopes and hands-on activities to dig deep into the mineral make up of rocks and their formation. Identification and comparisons of rocks and minerals will be made, and students will get the chance start their rock collection!
Classes will inlcude a brief educational lecture, a hands-on activity, art project, and snack. The workshops will take place in our new Education Center, located in the Gallergy Room of the California Oil Museum. Space is limited, so be sure to register today!
Payments are due at the beginning of class. We accept all major credit cards, cash, and check. Pease arrive 15 minutes early.
