About

The natural seeps in our area are the reason oil production began in California. With microscopes, lab experiments and using their senses, students will learn how oil seeps are formed, early uses of petroleum and the importance of oil today.

Classes will inlcude a brief educational lecture, a hands-on activity, art project, and snack. Each student will also recieve a notebook to log their findings. The workshops will take place in our new Education Center, located in the Gallergy Room of the California Oil Museum. Space is limited, so be sure to register today!

Payments are due at the beginning of class. We accept all major credit cards, cash, and check. Pease arrive 15 minutes early.
