Opening for "Vintage Toy Wonderland"
Experience the wonder of childhood and take a trip down memory lane to view the incredible collection of vintage toys from the sixties, seventies, and eighties! The California Oil Museum is excited to announce their newest exhibit “Vintage Toy Wonderland: Memories of Our Youth from 1960s-1980s.” The exhibit will be open to the public starting September 21st, located in Iron Room of the California Oil Museum.
From GI Joe, to Cabbage Patch, He-Man, Barbie, Transformers, Hot Wheels, Tonka, Star Wars, and much more, all your favorites will be a part of the collection, presented by Brian Hernandez. “The toys displayed are examples of the ones that brought a lot of joy and fond memories for me and my siblings, even to this day. I hope it will do the same for you,” expressed Hernandez. The exhibit will include a wide variety of toys through the years, along with fun history of some the world’s most recognizable toys!
Join the Museum for the exhibit opening on September 21st, where there will be trivia questions and prizes from 12pm-2pm. View the collection and test your knowledge in vintage toys of the sixties, seventies, and eighties. Participate in all the fun at the “Vintage Toy Wonderland” exhibit!
